Archeopark

Archeopark Senales

The archeoParc open-air archaeological museum tells the story of where and how Ötzi lived here in the mountains 5,300 years ago and the chain of coincidences that led to his discovery on our glacier...

This means that the Parc invites you to visit two exhibitions and an open-air area with Stone Age house reconstructions and organises a daily programme of demonstrations and visitor activities. In this way, the Parc reconstructs contemporary and prehistory together with visitors, making it accessible and understandable.

There are various attractions in the archeoParc.
The ten most visited places and activities are

  • the "Flora Fauna Man" exhibition with replicas of Ötzi's equipment
  • the fire demonstration in the reconstructed Stone Age house in Villanders-Plunacker
  • the view of Ötzi's discovery site through the museum telescope
  • the visitor workshop with bread oven
  • the dugout jetty
  • the archery range
  • the cafeteria
  • the bookshop

Experience an unforgettable family day together with your family!
