Two reasons to celebrate

We have not one, but two reasons to celebrate: Our new website is online AND we were named the best children’s hotel for 2025!

Take a look around: You’re on our brand-new website, featuring fresh texts and a sleek, modern design. And our name has had an upgrade, too: TYROL Family Retreat. While our roots and values remain unchanged, our style is moving with the times.

The new website was created with a clear vision: To (virtually) throw open the doors to King Pipo’s kingdom and show you, at the very first glance, what you can experience here. And there’s plenty to discover, as we’ve recently extended the “Piccola Imola” racetrack and opened a new petting zoo. Now your little (and not-so-little) ones can learn all kinds of fascinating facts about the animals and look forward to a wide range of exciting attractions. As you see, we do our utmost to make families happy at  TYROL Family Retreat.

And that didn’t go unnoticed by the jury of Kinderhotel.info. In January, we were awarded first place by Kinderhotel.info in their 2025 awards – out of a total of 50 family hotels! The jury considered four main criteria: family-friendly facilities and services, guest reviews on kinderhotel.info, guest reviews on other review platforms, and the “no-fake” factor. Each category is scored out of 25, with a maximum total score of 100. We were awarded full points in the facilities & service and “no-fake” factor categories, and 23 points in each of the other two categories. This achievement has left our hearts overflowing with joy – and we’d like to thank you, our cherished guests. Thank you for your loyalty, your fantastic reviews that made this success possible, and your invaluable feedback.
