Naturno received the "FamilyPlus - family-friendly community" award from the provincial government for the first time on 23 September 2022 - our host families can only benefit from this and take advantage of the great offer!
From March, there is a varied and exciting children's programme for the whole family in Naturno. From a visit to the Oberniederhof organic farm in Madonna di senales to a lama trekking tour and a treasure hunt together: the children's programme in Naturno ensures unforgettable days and shining children's eyes.

MONDAY
Visit to the organic-farm "Oberniederhof" in the "Val Senales"
An interesting visit (explications only in German or Italian) to a special farm for children over 6 years - the way of the milk from the cow to the store. Tasting self-made yoghurt and butter and being close to the farm-animals - a special experience!

3D archery parcour at the "Moarhof" in Monte Santa Caterina in Val Senales: Come and enjoy a great day amidst the beautiful nature of the Senales mountains. Equipped with bow and arrow, the adventure can begin.
TUESDAY
Search for clues in the miniature park - children's quiz in the Nature Park House Texelgroup: Here you can discover almost the entire world of the Nature Park in one house. On an exciting search for clues, you will learn about the exciting flora and fauna and the special features of the nature park.
"Lamas, mountains and nature": Lama adventure day at the Pirchhof farm on the Birchberg/Plaus with a tour of the farm and pastures, a leisurely lama hike to the Brandhof farm, exciting lama stories and a lama "driving licence" for kids.
"In the miller's footsteps" .... From grain to flour: this exciting event at the Runster Mill on Naturnser Sonnenberg fascinates young and old! (May - August every 14 days)
WEDNESDAY
Lama trekking adventure in Tabland: An eventful family hike with the fluffy, absolutely child-friendly lamas, past legendary caves and fairytale forest clearings, with lots of fun making fires, grilling sausages and playing family games. (July and August)
Open training at the technical training area: kids and teenagers can improve their mountain bike riding technique under the professional guidance of certified guides from the Ötzi Bike Academy.
Climbing on the "Knott family and practice via ferrata" on "Naturnser Sonnenberg": A professional mountain guide accompanies you and your family on the "Knott" and gives you important tips on how to climb safely.
Children's workshop in the Nature Park House: creative workshop with natural and recycled materials. (July and August)
THURSDAY
Treasure hunt through Naturno: you can solve riddles that reveal the way to the treasure. The kids can lead the treasure hunt team from clue to clue and, if necessary, the adults can help with reading, writing or guessing.
Children's climbing in the RockArena Merano: Here you can conquer the climbing walls of the "RockArena" together with a climbing instructor. Great indoor and outdoor climbing routes expect you, learn how to belay yourself and, above all, have lots of fun with the other children.
Lama day in Tabland: You have the opportunity to get to know the lamas, guide them, feed them, stroke their soft fur and take a short walk together with the fluffy animals.
FRIDAY
Children's climbing in the RockArena Merano: Here you can conquer the climbing walls of the "RockArena" together with a climbing instructor. Great indoor and outdoor climbing routes expect you, learn how to belay yourself and, above all, have lots of fun with the other children.
Cycle tour to Merano: You and your family can easily cycle to the town of Merano, 15 kilometres away. And to "come home" you can book a bike shuttle, which will take you back to Naturno with your bike.

Appleland Southtyrol: Mrs Anja Ladurner invites you and your family on a walk through the orchards of the "Auenheim" farm in Plaus, followed by apple tasting.
Out and about with the nature park rangers: In July and August, our trained nature park experts will show you the exciting landscape around Naturno. Together we explore, build, observe, play and learn. You will be amazed at the diversity of nature!
SATURDAY
Children's afternoon at the Minigolfparc in Naturno: Here everyone, young and old, can have a great time. Together or against each other - at the foot of "Nörderberg" with a wonderful view of the Texel Group Nature Park and Naturno. Afternoons in good company expect you.
SUNDAY
Naturno adventure railway station, old Senales/Stava railway station, May - October from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
On offer are trolley rides on a disused railway track over 500 metres long, a garden railway on a track network over 800 metres long with electric and diesel locomotives, an original mini steam locomotive and two post wagons for relaxing as well as food and drink
